Introduction to InnovaGeek Project

What kind of free services do we provide?

InnovaGeek offers a free service. You are free to present your technology or your projects, to seek for investors, partners or browse for new ideas. You can display pictures, logos or videos about your company or innovation(s). You can enrich your user experience by using freely our iPhone application. The push notifications for technology alerts available on iPhone are as well a free service.

What do we expect in return?

InnovaGeek will offer soon new options and services, so any of your suggestions is welcome to help us to fit your needs and to adapt our development to new open services.

How to get the InnovaGeek iPhone application?

How to use favorites, send a project to a friend and share information on your preferred social networks?

Once you are logged in, just scroll down to the end of the project description. Buttons allow you:

  • To share the project : you can select how you can send the project either on Facebook, Delicious, Twitter or other social networks of your choice. You can also simply email the project to a friend
  • To bookmark the project and then to store it in your favorites.

Favorites on iPhone and on the website are instantly synchronized.

How to subscribe to push notifications to get alerts on your favorite topics?

First you need to download our iPhone application on the AppleStore and then to log in with the same account than used on the web. Each time you make a new search, scroll down to the end of the search results. You should see a green bar displayed with the message “get notify if new projects”. Just click on this bar to activate the push alerts. You can remove a specific alert by exploring “Favorites” from any page and then go on the “search” tab.

How to use filters?

Using the filters is easy to improve your research on InnovaGeek. On iPhone application just select “refine my search” on the top of the screen to display filters.

How to submit a technology description on InnovaGeek?

First gather a few data together:

  • Your logo (convert and use jpeg image)
  • Potentially some pictures (convert and use jpeg image) of your technology or related to it
  • Potentially some links to some video you have on YouTube, Dailymotion or any video platform

You then should be asked to complete:

  • a title
  • a short abstract to introduce the technology (we recommend some about 150 characters abstracts)
  • a description of the technology (favor 1000 characters long description)
  • a scientific description (here you can introduce all the figures and formula that you want: this part should be only read by other specialist!)
  • a description of what you expect (it can be either business opportunities, a partnership, some money... just tell us!

Once you have submitted at least one project you can then add multiple technology owners and multiple Innovations.

Is there some optional features on InnovaGeek?

Could you make a short movie to present our technology?

Yes, on demand we can write a movie script from your description. After your validation of this script we can make a video of about 2 minutes long. Some professional actors will present your innovation. The resulting video will be sent to you for your personal usage and added to your project description in InnovaGeek. Using off-voices we can add some different languages if you need to. Please ask us more information
